Building Leadership

Principal

Mrs. Sarah Lindh

Welcome to the Early Education Center and the 2023-2024 School year!

I am honored to serve as your Principal at the Early Education Center this year.  I come to this position having served in multiple administrative roles over the past nine years.  Prior to my administrative experiences, I was an early childhood teacher for nine years.   I am beyond thrilled to return to my early education roots as the Principal of the Early Education Center.  I look forward to working collaboratively with families and staff and supporting students.  I feel blessed and grateful to continue my professional journey with Round Lake Area Schools and I look forward to working collaboratively with you, the families, staff, and students of the EEC.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in elementary education and my master’s degree in educational leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.  I find great joy in working with and advocating for all students and have a passion for working with educators to grow in their instructional practices to ensure all kids have access and opportunity for success.  On a more personal note, I am a mom and wife.  My husband is an Athletic Director in Wisconsin and we have three amazing children, our seven-year-old twins and a two-year-old.

Oftentimes in education, we hear pronouns of your and mine or his and her students, but if we truly want kids to find success we must look at education as an opportunity to co-serve ALL of OUR KIDS.  We know students come to us from different backgrounds and with different needs, but regardless, we owe it to our students to provide environments with high expectations, love, and support that will open doors to their most promising future.  If we are truly co-serving ALL OUR KIDS we can work together to not only hold them to high expectations but support them in reaching those expectations.

Leadership is not about arriving or gaining titles, rather it is about acknowledging we can always grow and learn from each experience and group of people we lead.  I believe that my willingness to be vulnerable and genuine with those around me is what makes me a kind, compassionate and collaborative leader.  I look forward to fueling my passion and fire, while learning, growing, and co-serving with all of you for years to come.  Thank you for the opportunity to be part of your child’s life, I am excited to meet each of you and co-serve ALL OUR KIDS!

Assistant Principal

Mrs. Sara Grabow

Hello! My name is Sara Grabow, and I am the Assistant Principal for the Early Education Center. I have been with the early childhood program for thirteen years. Early childhood education is my passion. I began my career volunteering at the Early Education Center when I was in high school. I continued to work in education as a teaching assistant, classroom teacher, and now as an assistant principal. It is my goal to promote family involvement within the school that will lead to a strong foundation for school readiness. I would like to welcome all families into the program and encourage you to ask questions and get involved. I will work with staff and families to ensure a strong connection between both home and school.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and four children. We love spending time at the zoo, parks and taking nature walks together. We also enjoy just sitting in on Friday nights watching the latest Disney movie or show.

As a fellow Round Lake graduate, I know the potential that lies ahead for all students. The Early Education Center is the first step into the school community. I will strive to ensure the experiences here are ones that will excite your child for the possibilities that are still to come. I look forward to meeting all students and their families.

Sincerely,

Sara Grabow, Assistant Principal
